In Steamboat Springs, you'll be close to the sport you love and on top of the latest trends in design and equipment. This is the only program in the U.S. that focuses on snowsports retail, manufacturing, and marketing. In 2024, students will travel to Japan for the trip of a lifetime that will produce hands-on experience to add to their resumes and produce lifelong memories.

ABOUT THE TRIP
in January 2024, a number of lucky CMC students were able to be a part of the study abroad program in Hokkaido, japan. In 2026, the students will be able to experience the same trip as before, in the same area, while also studying international snowsports business and Japanese culture.
Hokkaido Japan is home to some of the best snow in the world. With over 120 ski areas around Hokkaido, one is able to ski just about anywhere. From amazing cuisine to all of the sights, there is so much to do and learn in Japan. On this 10-night trip, students will participate in a wide variety of activities, while still learning about international business and the snowports industry.
Going to school in Steamboat Springs, students are able to do the things they love, such as ski and snowboard, mountain bike, hike, and various other activities. At the same time, they are able to obtain a degree from CMC.
CMC offers one of the only snowsports retail degrees in the country, which focuses on snowports business, manufacturing, and marketing. Students will get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to travel abroad to Japan and experience the many wonders Japan has to offer.
